Design
Crimean Expert and Design Bureau is founded in 1992 as the organization rendering services on design and project of ship’s building, repair, renovation and modification. Design services of Crimean Expert and Design Bureau are ship’s technical documentation required by International Conventions and Regulations of Classification Societies. Crimean Expert and Design Bureau is experienced in elaboration of all kinds of design and project documentation – creation of preliminary sketches, engineering and detail designs both for modification of ships in operation and newbuilding.
Expert services of Crimean Expert and Design Bureau are expert evaluation of ship’s technical condition, estimate of costs for elimination of discrepancies discovered at expert evaluation.
Elaboration of documents regarding stability, floodability and strength of ships carrying general cargo, directions and instructions as for cargo fastening, ship’s towage and other kinds of technical operations.
Objects of Crimean Expert and Design Bureau are passenger, cargo, pleasure, fishing vessels regardless of displacement.
Main activities of Crimean Expert and Design Bureau which allow to solve a wide range of tasks are:
- special personnel policy characterized by broad specialists (with two or more technical specializations), using freelancers;
- data bases containing technological and elaboration samples of Crimean Expert and Design Bureau, e-designs;
- foreign policy aiming at solving any design and expert task in shipbuilding and shiprepair;
- Crimean Expert and Design Bureau is certified by Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and Ukrainian Register of Shipping. Issue of certificates for staff, allowing to render local services on behalf of well-established shiprepair companies;
- successful collaboration with foreign partners, issue of documents in foreign languages in accordance with the rules applied in shipbuilding and repair of any specific world region.
Crimean Expert and Design Bureau is organized as three complementary departments:
- Department of hull structures
- Department of ship’s engines and systems
- Department of electrical power systems
Main customer of Crimean Expert and Design Bureau is Shiprepair yard «Yuzhniy Sevastopol». Location of the design Bureau on the territory of the shipyard as well as great experience of collaboration ensure long-established system of designs implementation into real objects and direct engineering accompaniment of works.
